Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 21, 2026
1. Who controls your data
FakeCoin.io is operated by Ornalo LLC (USA), which acts as the data controller for personal information processed through the Service.
2. Information we collect
- Account info — email address and chosen username when you sign up.
- Game data — virtual balance, holdings, trade history, badges, and leaderboard position.
- Purchase records — package purchased, amount paid, currency, and a transaction ID from our payment provider. We do not store your full card number or CVC.
- Technical data — basic logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your data
- To provide the game (auth, balances, trades, leaderboards).
- To process purchases and grant in-game rewards.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and cheating.
- To communicate important account or service updates.
4. Service providers & data recipients
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run FakeCoin. These providers act as processors (or, where noted, as independent controllers) for the personal data described in Section 2:
- Hosting & database — Lovable Cloud (managed backend infrastructure) processes account, game, and technical data on our behalf.
- Payments — Paddle.com — Paddle.com Market Limited acts as our Merchant of Record and reseller. When you make a purchase, Paddle receives your name, email, billing address, IP address, and payment instrument details directly through its checkout in order to process the transaction, calculate sales tax/VAT, prevent fraud, and issue invoices and refunds. Paddle is an independent controller of that payment data and processes it under its own Privacy Notice. Ornalo LLC receives only a transaction reference, the package purchased, the amount, and the currency — never your full card number or CVC.
- AI news generator — generates fictional in-game headlines; no personal data is shared with it.
4a. Legal bases for processing
For users in the EU, UK, and other jurisdictions with similar regimes, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR (and equivalent laws):
- Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — to create and operate your account, run the game, execute trades, and deliver virtual rewards from purchases.
- Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) — to retain purchase records for tax, accounting, and anti-fraud compliance, and to respond to lawful requests from authorities.
- Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — to secure the Service, prevent cheating and abuse, debug issues, and improve the product. We balance these interests against your rights and freedoms.
- Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — where required, for example for non-essential cookies or optional communications. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Cookies & local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
6. Data retention
We retain account and game data for as long as your account is active. Purchase records may be retained longer to comply with financial and tax regulations. You may request deletion of your account at any time (see contact below).
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., GDPR in the EU/UK, CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at the address below.
8. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Security
We use industry-standard practices (encryption in transit, row-level security on the database, hashed credentials) to protect your data. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International transfers
Ornalo LLC is based in the United States. By using the Service you understand your data may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
